my grandson-in-law, Jonathan, Shandel's husband sent me this so I tho't I had better post it too. I don't want to spread any untruths. It is nice to think about tho'.
Renee, I'm sorry to inform, but the quote in your email about the
last days is NOT by Boyd K. Packer or any other General Authority.
This is a very common mistake that the LDS people have fallen into, so
deep, in fact, that the First Presidency sent a concerning letter to
the stakes of Zion which should have been read in all sacrament
meetings. You can read President Packer's statement online at the LDS

You might want to consider removing that quote, or at the very least adding the correction in the end of that post as well.
Dear Renee,
I'm sorry to use your blog this way. I was looking for your email addy so I could just email you. It's nearly 11:00 here and I don't like to call anyone after 9:00 pm because I go to bed early and I Never know when someone else will be too.
Kimberly called me tonight and while we were talking, she was looking at her blog and read your post to me.
I'm really, really sorry. I thought about calling you a couple of times, then it completely left me almost as soon as I thought about it. We've had a lot going on this week, even though I know that's no excuse.
Please don't think that I hold any grudges against you because I certainly don't. I don't even really know what was wrong. As far as the kids, they've been too busy to think about anything else. We've been trying to do a lot to keep them busy while they are here and also, they've all three been sick. Nathaniel was sick when I picked them up and he didn't do anything at all, including eating, for three days. Then Gracie got it and she lay around for two days not eating or doing anything else at all. Alex's wasn't quite as bad. He had the diahrea (I know that's not h ow it's spelled, lol) and tummy ache, but he kept right on playing. He didn't eat much though. Anyway, I'm really sorry. I won't be able to call you tomorrow because my husband is going in for more surgery tomorrow morning. Well, maybe not surgery, but an angeogram and angeoplaste. He thinks he'll be in there a few days, but I think he'll only be in there for the day.
Jessica will be here sitting with the kids, so if you want to call, you can. Our landline phone has been disconnected and we only use our cell phones now. I will leave mine with Jessie and you can call it. 403-4618.
I'm really sorry. I would be hurt if you had the kids and didn't tell me, and I never wanted to hurt you, I was just being thoughtless. I hope you'll forgive me and that you won't feel too bad about it.
I'm leaving on Wed. morning to take them home. So there isn't really much time left for you to see them now. I am so sorry!
Love, Gay
Hi, it's me bugging you again. I happened to think that I should give you Bryant's phone # in case you want to talk to me. It is: 403-4885. I will take it with me and that way if you want to call me you can, and Jessie can call me if she needs anything. But you can call my # if you want to talk to the kids. I think she's going to take them to the park or somewhere for a couple of hours this morning. But again, I'm sorry. I really would never have intentionally hurt you that way. It was just thoughtlessness on my part. Love, Gay
I'm just glad, Gay, that everything is OK as far as the kids go. I don't feel bad and I not hurt. We have been really busy as well; the family history center opened again last week. I imagine that Kimberly told you that Karl and I are serving a mission there. We are working two days a week then if we go to the temple too, our week seems gone. So I'm not really sure when we could have seen them...maybe Sunday. It's OK. Don't worry about it. We did see them when we were in Utah three weeks ago. I hope you and Bryant don't get the sickness too. Certainly he doesn't need anything like that along with everything else. I'll include him in my prayers,
Téa, don't you think it's OK where it is? Everyone reading it will read that first, I would think...
Mom
I think the correction is fine where it is and I am glad you didn't have bad feelings where the kids were concerned. We all love you very much and believe it or not, I really don't hold grudges and lately I have forgiven and forgotten very easily any offense I may have felt.
Just so you know, the kids are back now and we are all doing well. I missed them but enjoyed the break!
I'm glad to know that the children are back safe and sound. It sounds like the break was good for you. And actually, by their coming when they did, Nathaniel was able to come too.
